Maria - Bio
Maria Caldarone is a Rochester, NY native who later moved to Rumson, NJ during her teens and graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School. She holds a BS in Business Management from Monmouth University and a Juris Doctor law degree from Seton Hall Law School. Maria was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992 and settled in Vero Beach in 1999 with her two sons.
Throughout her career, Maria has been deeply involved in real estate, including property management, leasing, land acquisition, commercial lending, and real estate consulting. She also served as the president of Homes by Calton, a successful home building company. She briefly shifted to establish her law practice, specializing in bankruptcy solutions and pro-bono work for Florida Rural Legal Services.
Her son, Anthony, graduated from Florida State University and now serves in the Coast Guard. Her other son, RJ, graduated from Vero Beach High School, served in the Army, and now resides in Fort Lauderdale, pursuing his education.
Outside of work, Maria volunteers with organizations like The Source and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She is passionate about traveling, cooking, watching sports, and reading. Her love for food extends to exploring creative cuisine and 5-course wine pairings. Maria embraces her role as a good neighbor and neighborhood expert, always looking to contribute to the growth and vibrancy of her community.
